About Pastor Dale

I have been blessed to be married for 33 years to the best wife in north America, Nancy. We have four terrific Christian kids: David, married to our wonderful daughter-in-law Mandi, graduated from West Point, and serving in the US Army back from Afghanistan and now at Fort Hood TX but redeploying soon; Stephen recently graduated from Southern Oregon University and has been a part-time Community Service Officer for our local Police Department for three years, and runs long distances; and (always my Princess) Anne homeschools, works part-time for the Southern Oregon chapter of Joni and Friends (www.joniandfriends.org), loves to work with kids with disabilities, and does pet and housesitting. Our main pet is Scooter the comic dog. Besides the wonderful, caring and generous people at Bear Creek Church, where I have served for 13 years, I love to minister in places like Cambodia, Brazil and South Africa, which I am hugely blessed to visit annually. I spoke in Zimbabwe in September (2010) for the first time. Nancy has had three neck surgeries that have left her in a lot of full-time pain, but I’ve rigged a tandem bike to suit her and we love pedaling around our favorite bike cities: Portland, Eugene, or the 20 mile bike path here in Medford. I run too, but slowly, and work out at Superior Gym, the best in town.
